We all want to be liked, appreciated, etc. But what if i told you that God didn’t care about how many facebook friends you have, or how many people follow you on twitter? God really isn’t worried about how popular you are.
In fact the purpose of the Gospel isn’t for you to “fit in” at all, but to Stand out… Romans 12:2 Do not conform to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Being liked and wanted is something we all yearn for. But God has called us to be different…to stand against the grain. To be “like a city on a hill.” ( Matthew 5:14) To be the change for a world that lacks hope. Not “fitting in” is a good thing… you were made to fulfill your calling in Christ. Stand tall, pass it on.
